About Us

Spreading peace, love & joy with each bite since 1930.

We're blessed to have had a strong, loving matriarch in our family - Betty Lou, or as we called her, "Granny Lou".

My daughter's name, Tonalli Lou, honors her great-great-grandmother's memory - and our little cookie business honors her legacy of spreading peace, love & joy with every bite through her unique and timeless recipes.

We are survivors of domestic violence, looking to rebuild our lives and improve the lives of others through simple yet purposeful actions. Sharing our beloved family recipe is one way we're pursuing that goal - good things must be shared!

As we build our company, we're also building community, centered around love, resilience, and genuine peace, love and joy - won't you join us?!

Our Mission

  • build community and opportunities through delicious bakes and open conversations

  • remind others how to love themselves

  • share love for one another through honesty, kindness and every day meaningful acts
